What if Diversity was your client?

In 2012, Doug's formal career as a Chief Diversity Officer began at TBWA on Madison Ave. TBWA is a top ten global advertising agency collective with 200+ offices in 75+ countries.  On his first day,  TBWA took a disruptive approach to creating the role. Instead of looking at what others were doing, they brought in a team of 33 people across the agency and asked "What if Diversity Was a Client? What would happen if the agency looked at this dept. as we look at clients. Below is a breakdown of the strategy, how it works, what works best along with what companies can do to build. As presented at Linkedin's Sunnyvale CA studio.  (2019)
